not really - waste of time. People on AW have done it and even measured temps after doing so, little to no change.

I recomend it, took me 10 mins total. I have done this on two other cars and the endatnks went from too hot to touch to cool to the touch. the audi may be different, but why not help fight heat soak. the stock setup pretty much negates the purpose of having an intercooler. Air comes in but just heats up and circulates in the same place. It may not add HP but it does help fight heat soak on hard runs during the summer time.

yea I think it will actually help, I think you can pick up S4 inner fender liners that already have louvers in them

well for those of us who dont have the money for a fmic or plan on doing serious mods like that this works perfect. My plan is to try and think of an mprovement on this idea so my power is the same in summer time as it is in the winter without it done. If I can reach that goal, and I think I can, then Ill be happy.

also an FMIC wouldn't be very necessary for me on a stock turbo. Actually from what i have heard, it'd make a negative effect
