Default B5 Intercooling

Whats the best way to upgrade the intercooling system on the B5 platform, i know there are many options but what is the best one without having to buy a new bumper?

I believe you need a 2" thick IC to avoid cutting the bumper but its just the inside that get's cut so you dont need to replace the bumper.

RaceTec do a FMIC to fit behind a stock bumper with minor trimming this is mine but I have RS4 front bumper so no pint showing with bumper on.
