ya i'll prolly just try taking the seat out and screwing with it tonight... i knew about the motion sensor button on the driver side pillar, just wasn't sure if all the a4's were that sensitive... as for the wheels... i'd like the 18's, prolly sacrifice a little ride comfort to be stylin... ummm, not sure if i should slap on seasonal tires or winter tires, cuz my tires should be changed in the next couple of months... and my brakes are starting to squeek, not loud, but i can hear them, and thats loud enough for me...

anyone do there own brakes??? i'm sure theres a write up... i'll find it when i do it...

anyone off hand know how to reset the service reminder on the dash, just got an oil change and buddy forgot to reset it...

thanks again guys

Lol... thats Audi for ya. Its mortal enemy is wind.

I was exactly like you; when I first got my car, the first mod were rims. I got 18 inchers and I had a monster truck on my hands... Im getting my car lowered on tuesday. Its not so bad but just know your car is going to handle like **** in the corners with large *** rims and a 4 inch wheel gap. Also, since the wheel is bigger, you will feel more of the road. I wouldnt say its a comfort issue. Also, if you get bigger rims with wider tires, I believe your accel will suffer but your top end is higher... can someone back me up on this or call me a crack head.

Lastly, my seats are a bitch to move sometimes. Also, I have the same model year... rock on 2000 B5!!!!

id stay away from the window rain guards if they even make them for our cars. imo it takes away from the class and race look of the car.

I agree with Mike wholeheartedly about the rain guards. I think it takes some class away from the car.
EvilA4 is right about the wheels, you will lose some accelleration but you will gain topend speed, I must point out that this is pretty hard to pick up on. Brakes are easy enough to do & i'll shoot the walk through tonight when i'm at home.
