Why does everyone say power, If he wants to drive fast he can get in his Evo 8. But i would get the B5 s4 if it was me and i didnt own all teh other cars u have.
Everyone is saying power, because "I want more speed out of an Audi..."

If the guy wants speed, people are obviously going to bring it up.

well Maybe I worded it wrong.. Yes more OOMPH to the Audi, but not speed.. I guess "More Power" would be a better way of saying it .. Speed I can always get out of my EVO but I would like power and class/style out of my car... that is why I went with Audi instead of BMW (Yes for the AWD !!!).. Thank you all for your replise suggestions ... I will take each and everyone into concideration.. My next thing would be To Drive an S4(B5) and see how it compares. to my cheap interior on my EVO..lol

Ps: How do you post pictures in here .. I would like to post pictures of all of my cars...

post them on photobucket.com and post the html in here and highlight it and click image button above.

I have driven teh B5 s4 and its great. I have also driven an Evo 8 and evo is way faster. But if u chipped or mayeb got an exhuast on there it could be a diff. story. Looking at ur cars u have a lot of moeny so u could prolly put k04s in teh b5 and that would be crazy.

Also u could always S/C ur 2.8.

For what you're after, I'd definately get a 1.8T B6, and chip it. I think you'll be happy, with plenty of pep, and an insanely nice ride.

Hmm.. the B6 (1.8T)idea sounds nice.....Now from what I understand you can only S/C the 30v vs what I have (12v)..

I also know that in Japanese cars some of the 5 speed Trannys when modified tend to crap out vs the 6 speed.. I wondered that about the b6 5sp vs the b5 6sp.. Even though I know for a fact that German Transmissions are far more forgiving than the Japenese ones...
Of course just like anything else when you put too much stress on it it tends to break..

you switched those around, there is not b5 5spd. on the durability of trannies, the tips are alot weaker than the stick trannies and cant handle power beyond a chip and in some cases a k04 (correct me if im wrong). you can upgrade to a level 10 tranny if you plan on doing anything beyond that with a tip.
