The scooby isn't pushed as a luxury car. It certainly doesn't deserve the f@cking subaru tag you gave it.
Is this a joke? It doesn't deserve the tag? Did I hurt the car's feelings? It doesn't deserve anything, it's an inanimate object. I don't like the car, and neither do tens of thousands of people who have purchased other cars in the same class. It's an ugly f'n car.

i love the amount of times ppl rephrased the fact that YOU WILL GET YOUR @SS HANDED TO YA!

just be like "at least i can pick up more chicks with my whip" and then you'll be a winner regardless!!

A s/c 2.8 could take a stock wrxI have beaten 2 of them, and hung with a few modded ones. This doesnt say much, because there are to many variables on the street.

I hate the looks of teh WRX but i have to hand it to them they know what to make a car do. U guys should all read this thou. The WRX almost beat a S4 in C&D. http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=1

It's because the Audi had an extra 400 pounds of class.

Alright kiddo...

I owned a WRX before my Audi, I can difinatly say the WRX is faster off the line, once you hit the corners, the Audi (with a good driver) will take a stock WRX, the WRX has reletively plush suspension. Now, in a straight line.. don't bother. If you want to beat him drag style, save your money and buy an SRT-4, because they're f4st3r!!11 AND once you have the SRT-4, and haven't slipped into a parallel dimension, you can safely say you have the fastest car on the road for under 20k

Yeah SRT-4's are stupid fast... my buddy took his girlfriends SRT-4 to the track, bone stock, was running sub 14's. Now it has a 3" exhaust and runs low/mid 13's I think. It is rediculous, but, it is also a flaming pile of **** in terms of quality.

WRX's arent exactly beacons of reliability, either... I have heard they have weak as hell trannies (though the STi remedied the problem) and also, I am not sure if this is still the case (which I doubt it is) but early WRX's had engine troubles VERY early in the game... a friend of a friend worked at a subaru dealership, and they were all coming back with motor problems.

That being said... WRX's dont have easy lives -- i'd never buy a WRX with more than 5K miles on it... people beat the snot out of them, which might skew the reliability ratings.

Early wrx's? Are they the ones from the early 90's?
