Hey i been trolling around on some sites.. and looking at coilovers...

a few sites say their coilovers fit a4 b6 all...

is there any real differences in the suspension between the a4 fwd cvt and the a4 quattro... besides like "sport shocks struts" etc...

they all bolt up the same right? and look the same?

 

not positive, but I imagine the rear suspension in a quattro isa bitdifferent than the rear suspension in an FWD model. but, the connection points should all be the same time, and if the suspension is adjustable i don't see any reason why it couldn't work for both.

 

its is different fwd suspension is made for fwd for a reason.. such as the weight difference and the differentials or w/e that run the rear tires

 

so does anyone actually really know... if not ill have a buddy look it up on aesis

They are different, not compatible with each other, the cars have different weight in the front and rear because of the different drivetrain.
If the site says it is for both, they are wrong, dont buy it from them cause they dont know WTF they are saying.

 

NO he didnt just answer me. it was his opinion or educated guess. and to my SUPRISE i looke on aesis today and they are the exact same w/ the exception of "sportier" shocks and stiffer springs ETC! in your eye ball. thanks.

Oh and how is it that stiffer shocks and stiffer springs don't make the suspensionsdifferent? Or are you saying that they are the same suspension on both unless you ordered the sport package?
