B6 RWD conversion thoughts?
i already have the Eibach Pro Kit Coilover's and probalby will just retrofit some rear coilover's for a RWD car in the back, but i don't know which car will fit as of now. I would proably want to go with a variable sping rate setup in the rear with the hard and soft springs like what supercars have installed in them and cars on the track.
Aren't all the European Touring Car's RWD? All those nice A4's with a nice V8 shoved into them. Ok, maybe not that hard, but it's nice to know they aren't using S4's, gives us A4 guys hope
Also I think the Nurenburgering (sp?) Audi TT is RWD too...how you might ask...because Forza Motorsports doesn't lie
Hahahahaha But that would be cool...flip a switch and in instant drift mode, then flip it back and continue on the road with normal AWD as normal

So stasis can help me out with the transmission issues,
Now what about the rear end and suspension....
if that Audi TT is only a RWD, would that rear end fit in an A4?
The more i think about this the more i want RWD.

Dude, it sounds like alot of fun, but it just sounds like a ton of work and even more money. If you got that much money to blow just to make your car RWD, I can send you the number of my credit card company. C'mon, help a brudduh out.
Seriously, though, couldn't you just pull an entire rear suspension off an AWD A4 and bolt it on? As mentioned before, they don't make completely new chassis for each model. I would think everything would match up and you would have all the RWD parts you need. Considering the amount of HP you wanna be pushing, you're gonna have to beef it up anyway. Ever think of going to a race shop and see what they can fab for you? Just a thought. If you really want to spend some money, go full custom. That would make it unique.

you would need the AWD rear out of the same model car you have

this is just a thought, I am planning on keeping this car until it dies, so for my last project i would like to make it RWD and make it like 350+ whp 400+ ft/tq
Something like that, I think it would be fun

Ams in chicago built a evo chasis made for a 4g63 evo motor to be bolted to a turbo 350 chevy trans. If I was wanting to switch out a tranny for rear wheel drive I would stick in a turbo 350.
