B6 SUSPENSION/TIRES/EXHAUST
Hello friends, what I really need your help on is tires first, i'm gonna get a new set and they discontinued the pirelli p6 all seasons that were OEM. What is a nice all season tire to go with? Also, i def. plan to put sport suspension on my baby this spring.....i dont think i would want adjustable coilovers, just a quality "set it & forget it" sport suspension. Wondering what you guys think on that and a cat back exhaust for the 3.0....wHaT WoUlD yOu Do>>??????? THANKS MUCH

well for tires i think the pirelli's suck!!
other than that i have a B6 1.8Tq and just installed a set of Tein S-tech springs with the stock shocks, not saying you should do that, but these springs ride like stock, but lowered 2.4"-----
here is the forum discussion on that..

other than getting those springs and maybe a good pair of aftermarket shocks, I would also go with the H&R cup Kit, i did alot of shopping around and due to the fact that if i blow out my shocks all I have to do is buy them, and my buddy and I at the dealer will install them for free. I just went with a spring for now cause one of my wheels has a hell of a dent, and is giving high numbers on the road force test when being balance, i am getting new wheels for x-mas, couldn't spend it all on a suspension.
---all in all---
Tein S-tech springs and after market shock
or
H&R Cup Kit
keep us informed on your decision,
and also in that forum ^^ is a before and after shot of my car with the springs.

bilstein shocks with h&r springs. i wana go with miltek on exhaust but no bread for now.
heres one tread i would consider, its cheaper than any other coilover i saw, almost the same price as the suspension itself

High performance all-seasons? Yokohama Avid V4S. Excellent balance of dry, wet, and light snow/frost grip. Just got back from a 3000 mile jaunt from LA to Seattle and back including a run over the Cascades without chains, no problems. Summer tires: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, absolutely first rate in any condition EXCEPT snow or ice. Quite possibly the only good tire that Goodyear's ever made just don't even attempt to run them on a snowy road.
