did anyone else have fitment issues when installing the intake setup? it doesnt even seem to fit... i cant get the filter in place becuase the headlight is blocking it from going in... i dont know if im doing something wrong but it seems like its sitting too low or something... seems really wierd to me that its just not fitting...

btw i bought it b/c i had some extra money lying around not becuase i want some SERIOUS HP GAINS!

I didnt have a fitment problem until I put the bi-xenons in. Now I need to get a smaller filter, looking at the HKS dome filter. I'll probably buy it at
WF and slap it on while the cars on display

alright this guy had no idea how it went in then... i walked in and he came over saying that it wasnt fitting... it was sitting wayy too low i think and he showed me that filter was not fitting behind the headlight housings and also that he couldnt fit the MAF in there... i knew i should have done it myself but i needed my car back so i told him to put in the stock airbox again... i guess im going to have to just do it myself the right way...

oh dan... does your filter that you got from them have like the cone inward part at the end of the filter? or is it just a flat plastic surface with no inward indentation?... if you know what i mean

because mine has a flat top and doesnt go inward at the top... im wondering if they sent me the model for the B5... even still shouldnt it fit tho?

 

mines flat like yours. You also don't have to use the filter they sent you. You can switch it out with what ever you like or what ever will fit better.

 

alright thanks... it doesnt seem right that it wouldnt fit... i just think he wasnt installing it correctly il have to give it another go this weekend
