what are the main diffrences in the S-Line and base models of the B7 A4?

 

body, suspension and wheels, there was a thread about this the other day

I believe the 2008 models already comes with s-line pckg.

that is only if you plan on changing stuff...... like you did with the tt, if it is for say a wife who wants a plane jane car, without being plain jane, then yes get the sline...... if you are looking for an everyday drive you wanna mod, get the 2.0t and start with tunning exhaust wheels suspension brakes then body

but that is just me......go fast goodies trump looks.......since i am not entering any shows anytime soon


and what is this car going to be for?

why not get a b5 or 6? don't like the new b8?

it is for me actually. the B7 and B8 differences aren't too much for me to pick sides really. plus the B7's should get cheaper.

i've had my fill with the 1.8T so i dont wanna go back and downgrade toa B5/B6 A4. i wanna tinker around with the 2.0T. and ya, i know how to mod,as for mei wouldn't do the exhaust first.

i'd get the chip/flash first and from what i've read, the catalytic converter is directly onto the turbo in the bay so most B7 A4 2.0T exhausts come with post-cat downpipes

 

yeah, you could leave it stock and go tp

i know you know how, i just know you are a tt guy, things are different in our little world, you could get a b6 2.0

 

^ ya, i just wanted to dabble in the A4 realm see what's all the ruckus isgoin on here. and hmm, didn't know there was a B6 2.0T but i still like the B7+ look.

soo... what do you A4'ers (B5, B6 & B7)mod 1st? as for performance? suspension?

Chip/Flash > DV/MBC>Downpipeand/or cat-back> W/M Injection >FMIC > lastly, Intake.
