So im new to the Tuning scene and i was hoping someone could give me some good advice on what i should do to my internals before i chip my 2006 a4 2.0T. I know that adding a chip and rerouting the ECU just puts more strain on stock internals so if anyone has any advice on inexpensive mods i could do before that i'd love to hear it

 

I have read that if you are going stage 1 chip you really don't need to do anything. After that a high pressure fuel pump needs to be added. Other than that I don't think there is much else. If you want to go all out you could rebuild the engine internals with high performace parts, but I haven't seen much about that.
