is it bad that my tape deck emmits a rediculous ammount of heat?

 

All the time?,Or just when the heat or when the tape is playin?

 

whwnever the tape is in. it doesnt have to be playing. if im listening to teh radio adn a tape is in, it is hot as hell

 

If it aint broke why fix it? Its not a timing belt.

Back in the day when I played tapes, they used to get hella hot too, but that wasn't in the Audi. I would assume the hotness is normal. Using your tape deck, however, is not. Burn some CDs man!

 

LOL i dont listen to cassets. i user a casset that has a head phone jack that i run to my iPod

the wireless transmitter for teh iPod is staticy unless its in the right spot on teh seat. this is easier and io dont have to put batterys in it or spend a lot of money.
