So, as some of you might recall, I was having the really bad gas mileage in my '01 Audi A4 1.8T FWD. I was getting 21mpg max. We trouble shot everything here on the forum. So, I finally took the car into the dealership to see what they could figure out. After 3 days of them having my car and me driving around in a very nice, brand spanking new Passat, they call me to tell me the verdict.

They say it was the MAF sensor and a vacum hose. Nothing about the O2 sensor though.. I guess we'll see if the problem is fixed. I'll be sure to give you guys updates.

Here are the other thing's they corrected.

Front Rotors
Front CV Joint
1 Ball Bearing
Broken Ashtray
New Shocks(On Order)

Can you believe that list! I'm glad they got this done, cause I'm out of factory warranty at the end of this month. But, I did purchase a Supreme Bumper to Bumper warranty from MBA Direct. When I got back to get my new shocks put on the car, I guess I will know if the mileage has improved.
