ok so I've had headlight issues with my car in the past. 1 assembly went dimmer than the other audi quoted 350 for one new one so i replaced them with cheap ebay lights temporarily (1 year ago before i knew about this site). I just got valeo's and the same one is dim. when i looked at the assembly i realized there's really nothing mechanical/electrical to it. its just a plastic housing besides the wires on the black covers. so i now know that its the wiring to the headlight that is causing this. where does that wire go to in the engine bay? could it be a bad ground? would I be able to fix it? I am going HID within the next week so it will probly solve this problem since it will be powered by the ballasts/battery but I want to know what is causing this. any help is appreciated. thanks.
