Default Bad turbo bearing?

Need a little help guys...
The last few days I've been driving my car, I've been noticing an odd sound coming from the engine. Sounds kinda like something may be loose in there. I can hear it whenever I'm above 3200rpm. So, I go to drive in the far right lane, nearest to the curb (so the sound will bounce off the curb back up into the car), roll the passenger-side window down, and can clearly hear something like a bearing is going bad (from the right side of the engine compartment). At first I thought that one of the heat shields may be coming loose (sounds like a metallic vibrating sound), but I checked all the heat shields and they're all attached pretty firmly. I'm going to bring my car in to the dealer tomorrow & have them look at it, but from what it sounds like, I'm guessing that a bearing in my turbo may be going bad, since the turbo is on the right side of the car. My car has 45k miles on it, so the factory warranty is still good on the car. Besides, my A4 is also CPO. So I'm covered regardless. Any thoughts on what could be wrong?

pull the intake tube and feel the shaft play on the turbo that will tell you if its toast or not

Turbo bearing sounds like a dentist's drill when it starts to go.

I'm on my way to the stealer to drop off my car. It's nice to know they're open on Saturdays.

UPDATE:

Called the dealership. The problem was a loose O2 sensor in the exhaust. That's what was causing the noise. Dealer fixed the problem and did the 50k maintenance for free.
