Default Bad understeer on A4 Quattro?

Looking for a bit of wheel alighnment advice.
My 2006 A4 Quattro is understeering badly when turning at low speeds.Seems to be worst when turning right and left front tyre is more scrubbed than the right.
Had the four wheel alignment done.
There`s a slight knock from the right front but i`m unable to find any play in ball joints,etc....
Starting to scratch my head a bit now.......?
Don`t want to buy new tyres until i can get this problem resolved.
Any help would be greatly appreciated???
Thanks

im sorry to say, you might have to get your car realigned by a reputable shop. try and find a place that has a legitimate alignment hoist. have you lowered your car?

No.The car is totally standard.
The place i went to is legit and i know the guy that did it.They have the proper 4 wheel alighnment ramp, etc.
I know i will inevitably have to take the car somewhere else, but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before i throw more money at it.
