battery disconnect

I will be disconnecting my battery on my 1.8t and need to know where I can find the radio code needed to get it going again!! any suggestions?? Sharon

Check your manual, it should be there. Otherwise, you may have to go to the dealer.

I think it is just for the radio. However, other may chime in on this one and give you a better answer.

thanks again.. I called a couple of dealers and they all said it was for the radio only and that i can find this information with my owners manual. a seperate radio manual.. again. thanks for everything. I blew my timing belt.. and am taking the head out... have a good one.

It is definitely just for the radio. If you can't find the code in your manual, its also in the trunk's spare wheel area or on the trunk lid. It should be a little sticker. If you find yourself disconnecting your battery often, you might want to invest in one of these. I find mine very handy.
