What is the sequence you must use when replacing the battery in the automatic door opener. I'm tired of paying $65 every couple of years for a $1 part. I saw the dealer do it once - something to do with having the key in the drivers door lock. Any help?</P>


In addition how do you turn off the oil light which flashes when you first start the car in the trip mileage window. I want to change the oil outside of the dealer but am tired of watching that light flash.</P>

You need two remotes to reset one yourself (one of those has to be already coded).

I posted on this before - do a search in the archives on "reset".
