OK, so I just got off work, all excited to drive after I let it sit for about 5 minutes idling with all the electronics off, jump in and go get gas. On the way there, when I pulled away from an intersection, I shifted at about 3k RPM and my car beeps at me. My LCD is severly messed up, so bear with me here.

It was either:

MSI circled with a 1 on the bottom left
MDI circled with a 1 on the bottom left

It quit when it was idling, but came back on and rotated between my windshield washer fluid light. It beeped at rougly 3k in first gear, and then didn't beep again. It showed the same display only with a 2 on it in the bottom right corner when I pulled into my garage.

I stopped it in a parking lot, and revved it up a little bit to see if I could get it to come back on, and it wouldn't. It only comes on when the car is moving in gear. I popped the hood, and even while revving enough to hit boost, didn't hear anything that sounded off at all. I have a boost gauge and pod coming in probably on tuesday or wednsday, so I'll know if its a boost problem or not. The oil was changed about 350 miles ago with Penzoil fully synthetic 5w-30. The clutch is kinda slippy.

I'm going to take it on a 25 or so mile drive tomorrow to an independant Euro mechanic who inspected the car originally and said it was golden to see if he can find anything. I would really appreciate it if someone could shoot me a picture of their owners manual, on the page where it shows what the displays mean.

You might have accidently set the speed limit warning. Should reset after you restart the car.

 

How would I do that? My Bentley manual comes in on Monday and I'm going nuts without it.
