Best AWD system

sombody told me that audi came out witht he first awd system... but i could be wrong, i'd go with the system thats been around longer
i like how audi's awd system is purely mechanical, dont know about sooby, or mitsu, but not having to worry about electronics is what does it for mee

Yeah the Audi system is a mechanical system W/Electronics but unlike many of the others it will still give you almost AWD with an electrical failure of the system
I say almost AWD because it has electronic locking diffs (it uses the brakes) to keep the power distribution equal or not depending on the situation
It has a 50/50 split not all are like this. It can be changed with different gears. Like say the 25th anniversary S4 has a 40/60 split
