i finally got my 99 a4!!! and i luv it
just one thing that bugs the hell out of me
then head unit (tape deck) 9" long.!!!
i bought a nice alpine headunit and of course at bestbuy they install it for free right..
no!
the guy told me they cant touch it because the cars stereo system is amplified....
and that u need to re-wire the whole car???
is that bs?
i heard of a euro-U.S. wire adapter that would work is that bs?
please let me know b4 i get a very expensive thing done!

I got mine hooked up at best buy and they didnt have a problem with it. of corse i didnt keep it in. i put the stock one back in though cause i was having problems.

aight ill take it to a car audio place, and tell them all the stuff u told me and see how much it cost.
and the reason i went to best buy was a good deal for the alpine unit and its free install bro.
cant pass that up
but yet tru they suck cause they couldnt hook it up fo me.

From now on, just take it to a place that knows what they are doing. Best buy doesn't have a clue. Good luck.
