Best Diverter Valve?
<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=blue>Hey guys, </FONT></P>
<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=blue>I am looking for the best diverter valve install in my 2003 1.8TQ A4. I want it to look stock if possible. </FONT></P>
<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=blue>Thanks for your help,</FONT></P>
Where can u find these? for the 1.8 that is..would a S4 APR 2.7T BiPipe Kit work..I would only need one...anyone know if it would fit...I know where I can get'em for Audi S4's, just not Audi A4 1.8T's.
Not true guys... sorry. The only DV that looks stock is the upgraded OE TT 710N.
Here's an excerpt from a write-up I did about DV's:
DV's:
Bailey = Probably the most popular, serviceable, $$$
Evolution Motorsports = Cosmetic (4 color choices), not serviceable, $$
Forge = Large (may have fitment problems), serviceable, $$
Forge Race = Larger than others (see above), adjustable, serviceable, $$$
Hyperboost = Cosmetic package, not serviceable, $$
Hyperboost Adjustable = New, cosmetic package, may not fit S4, adjustable preload, not serviceable, $$$
Hyperboost HX = Newest, very cosmetic package, new internals, not serviceable, $$$
*OE Bosch 710N = Basic, popular & low-budget upgrade, maintains stock look, not serviceable, $
OE Bosch Sport 110 = MTM upgrade, same as 710N with "better" internals, not serviceable, $$
$ = under $50 USD
$$ = $50 - $150 USD
$$$ = Over $150 USD
* Audi part# 06A-145-710-N

keep in mind too, that when a valve is "servicable" like the Baily and Forge, thats service is usually mandatory. You are supposed to oil the valve periodically. This is because inner parts are not all plastic like the OEM ones.

you can get a valve from Audi get a TT 1.8 225 hp valve, it's cheap. so if its not enough then go to stratmosphere
