Best early 2000s A4 vs A6
Hey guys! First post here. I need to buy a car with awd and know Audi's reputation in that department.
I'm looking at the 1999-2002 A4 Quattro and the 1999-2002 A6 Quattro. My question for you guys is what years and models/engines should I avoid? 1.8T? 2.7T? 3.0?
I am fully aware of the maintenance a used Audi requires, I've previously owned used Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Land Rover so I've become willing and able to do most of my own maintenance.
Thank you guys!

I would think 3.0 would be the least costly to own (no turbo to worry about).
1.8T you have to watch out for sludge.
2.7T Has two turbos that might need replacing.
I had a 2004 A6 2.7T that I loved. I only traded it as I wanted better fuel economy. I also liked the extra room in my A6 compared to my A4.
