Best Sounding Exhaust?
I heard a nice clip of a custom setup with Dynomax front muffler and magnaflow rear. Check out Europeancarweb.com (or whatever the European Car Magazine site is). They did a comparison of like 6 exhausts for the VW 1.8T complete with sound clips. As for V6, I'd say go custom and describe the sound you want, they pretty much produce it.

i drive a 1.8T and i've heard all those mp3's on that website but listening to something on the computer isn't the same as first hand experience. It can give me an idea of what they sound like. Have you heard this setup personally?

If you a do-it-yourselfer you can just cut out the middle muffler(middle of car) and just install an 18 inch piece of 2.25inch tubing in the void be careful where and how much you cut offi recomend welding at least one end but can probly be done with clamps as well thats what i did and it has a quiet idle but a mean growl when you step on it not that ricer sound<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">
