better air intake 1.8tq???

Default better air intake 1.8tq???
should i just go for a k&n air filter or open air? does either one matter for hp gain? pros cons or just keep it stock?

i heard the K&N filters dont add that much horsepower. look around

This is a test from one of the E30 guys, same should apply to the audi Air filter test

A K&N will add zero power to a 1.8t. So overhyped.

I have a kn and it definilty flows better, i bet i added 1hp out of it
