does anyone know of a proper roof rack for my 05 avant. i want it to look as cllllean as possible. i have seen some before on the road but i can't tell the maker. i would like it to look as streamline as possible, and to somewhat match the brushed aluminum colored factory roof rack.. if anyone could help me that would be neat, considering i need a rack ASAP for my bicycle addiction.haa. thanks for any help peepS!

yeah thats about your two choices.. both are good, but i've had both and go with thule. i just took my snowboarding racks off and put my bike racks on lol

 

I've sold and installed tons of these racks and both are quite comparable and the best bet for a custom fit.... It will cost you though, but the trade off is that you get a good strong rack that won't scratch your pain IF you install it properly. I personally am partial to Thule but I useYakima Kayak stackers because they're made better. By the way, be a man and get Fork mount racks as opposed to full mount racks. Why? More aerodynamic and it looks cooler on your car.

 

i think the thule racks just fit better in the applications i've used them in. i keep the bars and usually the feet and just go from foot pack to foot pack depending on what car i have. i've gone through 11 cars and 9 of which had a rack on for various reasons
