Default Big Brake Advice

Ok so since my other post got no hits....I'm looking at doing the A8 rotors with TT carriers. What size rotors will i be going will 312 242 or can I go bigger? I already found a deal on carriers so I just need to figure out the specs. If anyone knows or has done this please let me know. Thanks

Did you even read my post in your other thread? You'll need the 312 rotor, you can't go any larger on the TT carriers and stock calipers.

also as to needing a big brake kit. the A8 comes with stock between 190 and 420 hp and weighs alot more? so what are you basing your information off of saying that for 300 to 400 hp needs a big brake kit.

The rears only due a small percent of the braking. Just a nice set of pads in the rear is more than enough for a street car. The frontswill be roughly the same size as the TT brakes, thats fine for a quick street car also (13sec car). If you still need more braking ability, get 2 peice rotors from ecs and some kevlar pads.

there isnt a need for a 150/170/200 hp car that isnt that fast. As already stated, the rears do little braking, < 30%

so i can't do anything for the rears? that sucks. i mean even just to keep the car more balanced. seems like i should be able to do something with my left over front parts.
