i've searched the forum for answers but can't find an answer to this prob.
01 a4 1.8 awm auto giac chip 710 dv.
the engine is misfiring,there is some oil on the spark plugs cel light codes indicate multi cyl misfires
i have 93000 miles on the car. thanks

 

probably need new plugs or coils. go to autozone and get a vag-come, write down the codes and post them on here for the audi techs.

 

What are the exact fault codes? If there is oil on the plugs, replace your valve cover gasket/spark plug well gasket. If they are getting real wet that could cause misfires I guess. AWM coil packs hardly ever die. I had a problem once where I had a hairline crack in the insulator part of a spark plug which caused misfires.
