Big problem? I got smoke coming out around the engine
BTW,
when i talked about the computer not being set on my first post, I was told this by the head mechanic(Yuri, who works for AAA Management) who looked at my car. He says that every car that gets its engine replaced needs its computer or whatever to be reset/setup so it can feed the car the right amount of gas at whatever speeds or whatever. I'm clueless, so i don't know if any of it is true or what it means

hey guys where should i go to get my car checked?
I called the audi dealership today and their earliest appointment is like wednesday.
I called autozone and they told me that they only check the obdc 2, alternator and battery.
I recently got my car checked by lubeExpress and they checked all my fluids, serpentine belt yada yada, and they said everything was ok.
What kind of scans should i be looking for?

No luck at the dealership today. THe sales rep that sold me the car didn't work today and he is also the co-owner. The other sales representatives didn't want to deal with my transcation. They on top of that told me that my car was sold at a wholesale price and that there are no warranties, refunds or exchanges on it.
I don't want to deal with them anymore, i just want to fix my car and move on. So tomorrow i will take the engine cover off and any other things u guys recommend so that i can get a better video/picture for you guys to look at. Give me some ideas on what else to take it off and i'll get it done tomorrow.

Take it to an independent mechanic, preferrably one that specializes in VW or Audi and tell him your woes, and have him make some diagnoses (before the warranty expires). Then take it back to the shops again with a witness or two (preferrably adults, sorry I don't know your age).
Have them provide something in writing regarding the issue.
Then you will likely have to take them to small claims court.
Keep contemporaneous records of your visits. Camera phone pics of them cant hurt.

Dude first of all I don't think your problem is with the dealership. Your problem is with whoever installed and more importantly whoever supplied the engine. Am I not right guys. You bought an engine from a junk yard that sold it to you with a warranty. All the shop did was install the engine that you gave them. If the engine is messed up then it's the junk yard's responsibility. The dealer has nothing to do with this unless there was something wrong with the car when you bought it. I bought a car AS IS 2 years ago from a dealership in rhode island and the car ended up being ****ed up and the way I got them to buy it back was to show them the inspection paper they gave me, because half of the stuff that were checked as PASS couldn't have ever passed an inspection. So they basically just put P's next to each thing without checking the car at all. After going through this experience myself I must say, no offense but I have to, you scr**ed yourself and you get what you paid for. If you buy a car wholesale, buy a civic or something not an audi that's gonna cost you an arm or a leg to get fixed. Anway good luck dude, hope it's a small problem..
Thanks for all the advice guys and yes i do agree i did screw myself. Yesterday i went to see 2 lemon lawyers about my car problems and they both looked over my paperwork and told me that there isn't anything i can do with the dealership or any of the other parties involved in the transaction mainly because i signed these papers making them not responsible for any problems the car may have. I even talked to consumer afairs and they basically told me the samething.
So i'm gonna move on to just trying to fix the car myself. Plus its a great opportunity for me to really learn about cars. I will keep you all posted on any developments my car may have.

So i believe i figured out what was causing the white smoke around my engine bay. Basically the 2 or 3 days before my car had all the problems; i got an oil change at LubeExpress. While they were filling my oil, they spilt a ton of oil around my engine. I know everyone says burnt oil is black/blue but for some reason all I saw was gray/white smoke, let me know if I’m wrong. As for the engine possibly having a gasket leak, i recently did a compression test and all the values psi were the same. I figure, how could the head gasket be leaking if all the psi is the same? (correct reasoning? Please let me know)
As for the other major problems with my car, I believe it was due to the amount of oil in my car. Apparently lubeExpress only filled the car up to 1/4th the max amount. I’m not sure if it was leaking or something, but for some reason that’s all I had in my car! how do I test for leaks? After finding that out, I filled my car up to the max along with gunk engine cleaner. I let the car sit for 5 minutes running at constant speed, and then drain the oil with gunk and my car’s oil was totally black! (btw, should I have also changed the oil filter? How do I get it off the car? Should I be worried that the oil is black???) After using gunk I put normal oil into the car and currently planning to drive the car around for a week or 2 before draining it out again to see what color it comes out as.
--------------------------------------
As for other recent activities, I got my car vagged and these are the codes I got.
18010 ECM supply voltage from battery
17967 throttle control basic setting malfunction
17973 throttle control unit lower stop not reached
16684 random misfire
16690 cylinder 6 misfire
18014 rough road signal circuit malfunction
16689 cylinder 5 misfire
16686 cylinder 2 misfire
To see if I can resolve the misfires, just yesterday I have replaced all my sparkplugs and am planning to pick up some spark plug cables. I have also recently cleared my codes but I can totally still see that my seat belts and airbags lights are still on. I can also kinda still hear a misfire on cylinder 2, yet vagcom doesn’t pick it up, any ideas???

If the engine came with a warranty, then AAA Management should be responsible for the engine, unless you signed paperwork relieving them of all liability, and possibly declining any extended warranty AAA Management might have offerred to you. That's why you always have to read the fine print. As far as the oil changes go, I always do my own oil changes (oil & OEM filter). Never, EVER, take it to an oil change place... I've heard way too many horror stories about them either putting in the wrong oil, not putting in enough new oil, not draining out all the old oil.... I could go on and on. Oil filter - clockwise to screw on, counterclockwise to get off. Really easy. Oil - synthetic. Stay away from Pennzoil. It is crap. The oil itself will come out black, no matter if you drove it 100 miles or 3000 miles. It means that the oil is doing its job - suspending the dirt particles in the oil itself until it's ready to be changed.
