convert to manual while your at it..

 

cool idea, but not worth it...have to do soo much work to get a auto to a manual.

try to find a 2.8L tranny...good things.

 

listen its way more complicated the auto trannies.... i swapped for the second time most of these audi specialist dont even noe wat the hell their doin id advice u to sell "as is"or convert it to manual.... but it will cost you twice the amount because with the auto trannyits about 1100-1800 for a good tranny and18 bux a quart for atf fluid plus gasket and labor..... about 2500 total it will cost you 4000- 5k to swap it to manual best solution sell and buy a manual more reliable...

 

This doesnt sound cheap id try to get your insurance to pay for it, or at least some of it.
