bilistine or koni
Hi I got a 99.5 A4 quattro with the factory sport suspension. My factory shocks are really soft after nearly 80,000 miles.
So I am looking to get some new ones. I'm trying to figure out weather to get the bilistine sport or Koni sport. the Koni
are adjustiable which I really like but in not sure if I can adjust them once they are one the car. So if anyone konws if
they are adjustiable when on the car that would be great, also any info on which one is better would be great. Thanks!!!!

I put H&R's and Koni yellows on my wife's '01 A4 (std suspension)... love the improvement in handling over the mushy stock you accurately describe but initially was afraid of setting them at anything other than "softest" setting. So now I am looking at the labor $s to partially dismount and dial up the Koni's as the rebound seems to have softened/loosened over time (15k miles) and is softer / less controlled than the compression. Poor sentence structure but oh well...
Summary: today I would just buy the Bilsteins.

i jsut installed the bilstein sports and H&R springs two nights ago. They ride soooo well.... word of caution though: If you instal them yourself, leave some serious time to do the project. I started mine at 11 pm after i got off work, and didn't finish until 5 AM... ya thats 6 hours through the night. FVCK SPRING COMPRESSORS THEY CAN SUCK MY NUTS and if youve ever had to use them you KNOW what I'm talking about.
