first off i'd like to say hi to all im new to this forum

ive got and audi a4 1.9tdi 115
and ive got a prob with the headlights when i turn them on the light on the dial in the car shows for the sidelights but not the dipped lights but all lights on the front of the car come on now ive noticed a clicking sound when the lights are on and the lights seem to dim abit the go bright again its realy annoying as ive no idea whats causing this

any ideas would be great
