A friend of mine is selling 2 of his blizzzacks for $80 used. if i were to get these, and leave 2 all season tires on, where would be the best postioiing for them with the quattro? 2 winters up front or in back? Just wondering thnx

what has more tread left, the bliz's or the allseasons? id put the blizzacks in the better tread in the rear, but thats just cuz my car is assy. is ur a4 a sedan?

put the blizzacks in the front. its simple phyiscs that they will perform better in the front than the rear.

Yeah obviously in the front... for braking.
But honestly man... It's not cool to run snows on 2 wheels... see if you can eBay (or somehow) get another 2...

DEFINITELY don't run two blizzaks and two all-seasons! you know how everyone is always saying all four tires need to be identical? that's a little extreme, but it does have some credibility. think about it....you have two amazing snow tires up front, gripping better than ever, and two all-seasons in the rear, slipping left and right. that will kill your rear diff on your first trip in the snow.
