I'm going to try to tackle replacing the blower motor in my 2000 A4 1.8t. The quote I got to do it was over $700. I thought that was absurd since the motor is $250...
My questions...
Who's done this? What was the diffuiculty level? AND Should i replace anything else while I'm at it?

Its not that hard to do. You have to remove the glove box to do it. Theres a couple tricky bolts for the glovebox, but the rest are easily accesable. The bolts hold the glovebox to the center console and go in from the pass side of the vehicle towards the drivers side. Once you get all the bolts out, the glovebox is kinda a tight squeeze around the center console, but its not too bad. Might as well give it a try. Cant think of anything else in the area to repalce at the same time.
