Bluetooth w/ Factory Setup?
ORIGINAL: ThePizza
Ikind of thought that since it's operating voltage was 12V DC that I could wire it into accessory voltage on the car, so when the car turned on, BAM so did bluetooth so it would then operate much like the newer bluetooth enabled Audi's. That would make me happy.
Now, I have a 2000 A6 which has the cell phone package (the obvious indication is the big cell phone button on the steering wheel) and the GPS system, someone above mentioned I might get the same function by installing a NavPlus+ system? I was thinking about doing that anyway to get the graphical maps.

You should just buy a Parrot CK3200 hansd free calling device, most bluetooth devices come with their own mic,my car has a mic and some other wierd thing on the pillar but my alpine has bluetooth compatibility so I may just get the extra part and hook it up thru the radio.....Good luck,if u need a deal on a Parrot I can get you one cheap,I am a dealer for them but would prefer using Alpine-if u get the factory mic to work then u are good!!!!
