Default boost gauge advice

hey everybody,

i've been looking at purchasing a boost gauge and i'm currently searching different options i have.

i'm going to be getting a chip from AWE so i could get the vent boost gauge they offer.. although the kit is pretty expensive along with the price they charge for installation if i let them put it in.

i've seen the glowshift gauges on ebay and i've heard of people using them..

anybody have any advice about which one to get? are any easier to install?

thanks!

Dont let them install the gauge, its rather simple and anyone can do it. Also i had a glowshift and it lasted about 6mo before it went bad. Do yourself a favor and get a garrett or autometer gauge. And all guages install the same

i checked out both of their websites and i'm liking the garrett better, not as aftermarket/ricey as autometer... have any suggestions for where to order the garrett from? i've been looking on their website and haven't found a place to order.

thanks

The awe gauges look smaller than 52mm (2 1/16"). The 52mm gauge is kind of like the standard and the 60mm (2 5/8") the other.

vdo is the same size as other boost gauges. they just sell it with the vdo gauge cause vdo gauges are really good quality and very accurate
