Boost Guage Installed

Default Boost Guage Installed

Installed boost guage today. Took a hole 1:30. Nice an clean install to.
Im boosting 6psi in 1st, and 7 psi 2nd-5th. vac is 10.5 solid.

Ready for Chip/DV now

Done so far : Air box mod w/ K&N. 4 new tires. Boost guage.

you will be suprised when you see your boostgauge going crazy after you get chipped i spike around 19 psi mabe 1psi more or less some times but its nice to have a boostgauge knowing that air is flowing without leaks

what are you idling at in hg? just curious... anyone else with a boost guage installed and chipped have a different idle in hg?

yeah vac should be about 20 at idle

You say vac is suposed to 20 at idle? Ill test it with vac guage tester. As for Pics. Gota get a new usb cable for camra. Ill have em up soon tho.

Its a cheap guage. Nothin pretty. Its a faze, pod. Mounted on dash, left of steering wheel. I plan on dumping all my xtra money on the motor. All go. no show. My vac tester is pulling 10.5 hg from the T split. So I know its not my install. Boost is consistant. vac is low. Any ideas?

which hose did you hook it up to? front or rear(fpr)

and where in that hose?

mine is at 20 and i am in the middle of the front hose
