it definetly has to do something wastegate my boost is all over the place yesterday it was normal today its at 6psi the day before it was at 10psi and somtimes i get no boost at all and it sounds like the wastegate is flapping around

 

im not worried about it if its the turbo becuse i have another k04 that im gonna put in but i want to make sure that it is definetly something turbo related and that there is no underlying problem before i put the new turbo in

 

I have been having the same problems, and today I was digging around and I found a crack in one of the plastic pipes. At first I thought it was my turbo, now it will only take a few bucks to replace. Also I found this for finding a boost leak:

I have not tried it, but it might be worth a shot.

 

well its been a week and i still cant figure out where my boost went. i almost psitive its the wastegate becuse you can hear it flapping around inside. so tomorrow im going ahead and installing the k04 my friend gave me. hope this solves my mysterious boost problem... if anyone wants the k04 i have in my car now ill sell it for cheap because it needs a new wastegate.
