ok so i found a huge hole in my breather hose wich is connected to the inlet, and i thought for sure that would be my solution for my loss in power. so i bought a stronger tube from purems.com and put it on but my car still doesnt seem to be as fast as it used to. do you think i have a problem with my chip or another boost leak somewere. its a 2001 a4 1.8t, giac-x chip

 

Do you have a CEL?

 

check all hoses. especially the l-hose near the intake manifold. do you have a boost gauge? what psi are you running?

i actually found a small slit in the that l-shaped tube. i taped it up and saw a huge performance gain. i can hear the boost leaking out of the tape but after my car cools ill do a better tape job and see if it still leaks
