I totaly understand your lack of need for a street machine. I was going to make a #37 which says that 2.8 owners constantly reassure themselves that the 2.8 engine is just so reliable because they regret not getting a 1.8t. You deffinately wont have to worry about turbo's/DV's/ICers/timing belt tensioners/VAC-Boost lines etc... I considered the 2.8 for those reasons, but after owning a Maxima for a while I missed not being able to work on cars becasue that damn thing never has a problem. I wouldnt say that I was looking for problems, but I knew that Id be able to get my hands dirty with the 1.8t. And if i do the maintnance myself, i wouldnt be paying dealer labor rates. If I wasnt able to work on cars I deffinately would have gone with the 2.8. Not that you 2.8 owners cant work on cars

LOL!!!!! so true!! my gf's sister didnt know how to open it the other night. nor did my gf, but she figured it out! Always too see.

lol that is definitely a sick summary. I like the one about the aluminum trim. If you're under 30 and u have wood trim in ur car.... u have gone wrong somewhere
