Exactly what is a borla "test pipe" and how and where can I get a borla cat-back with one? All the sound clips of borla exust on my car sound seem to sound better when the car has a test pipe on it

Well, in certain cases you can work around engine code. Buts it some work & modifying. Skip the tpipe go catback

So where can you get the test-pipe from? How would the stock exhaust sound with a test pipe on it?

the purpose of test pipe is to increase flow. If you leave stock exhaust on, you are not going to have any improvement. Also, this will do nothing for you without a big turbo and aftermarket exhaust.
An cat-back exhaust should be done before doing this mod. Do that first, or concurrently.

Dude I dont know what your talking about but the CAT is one of the biggest restrictions on the stock exhaust, remove that and it will flow much better, the stock exhaust isn’t what hurts power the most, yes it is restrictive but the cat is much more so... and also you get damn near a 10 hp gain on a chipped A4 with just the TP
