bought turbo from ebay with some sideplay on shaft
this turbo looks like it has 10,000 miles on it but has a little side play on the shaft ,,is this normal??

afaik the ball bearing turbos have no sideplay, but if it is an oil floating turbo, it should have a little side play. I just remember something about this with T-26b's on the mr2... I may be wrong though...
its an k03 turbo from an 1.8t turbo engine i paid 300 dollars used ,but i mean this turbo looks like it only has 10000 miles on it ,no dirt on it what so ever
$400 wow for a extra $300 you could have upgraded to a K04 that is what I would do now instead of keep buying used turbos buying a used turbo is like buying used underwear you never know if you are going to get a sh!ty one or a clean one
