Most likely your car will spontaneously explode. Did you read the sticky thread?

aww f**k. really? what are the chances? I mean, I sounds like a BOV but it could be the intercooler? or maybe the new air filter thats hooked into the turbo input? I need to get this s**t checked out. f**k. <IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">

well no not "spontaneously" but it's not very healthy for your car. I have a naturally aspirated engine so I don't know the specifics.

should be alright it takes a while for it to destroy your engine just get it checked. </P>

youl probly have problems like stalling if you have a BOV it might be a hybrid which is a cross between bov/dv in that case it might be alright</P>

You are not recirculating your unused boost. Bad for car cuz it is now not getting enough air in the air/fuel mix - which means you are running rich. Will eventually clog cats and ruin your maf, oxygen sensors, etc...

Remove the BOV and put on a BPV.<edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>38089.4837152778</editDate></edited>

a decent BPV can be found almost at any Audi performance site. A common choice is the TT 225hp (known as the 710n) BPV. Cost like 30 bones.

It will probably eventually die on you in a couple years if you are chipped. Ive had mine for a year and its starting to go I think.

Other more solid (metal constructed) choices are Baily, Forge, Hyperboost...those go for about $125-$150
