No problem thats why we are here! LOL

(Sorry about the rude welcome. BUT WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!) Just please next time search before asking a question. We here at AF literaly get asked about BOV's almost 3-4 times a week. Also there are a few sticky threads that will help you out with questions like that. Look at the top.

But once again WELCOME!!!

Out of respect for this forum I won't mention the other forums, but google up some audi forums and you'll find happy places for people who run BOV's. There are lots of people running 250-300+hp big turbo kits with BOV's on their B6 1.8t with no problems over the long haul.
Won't get in to it here because we're brainwahsed here to believe otherwise. I don't personaly want a BOV, don't think they belong on Audi's, and am happy with a $30 710N stock DV and Carbonio intake. Sounds like a BOV without being so brash.
But since you're running a B6, just know that all the pages of data in the world that people here will direct you to don't hide the fact that a lot of people are running them without any problems whatsoever (at least on B6 platforms), with VAG COM data logging proving that you will not run lean, rich, blah blah blah, or blow up your motor.
Now, lets talk about the fact that your car shouldn't be made to sound like a ricer, then I can hopefully talk you out of a BOV.
Especially if you want to spend less than $100 on it. Your Audi deserves better.
