Dumb question but do most audis have LSD (limited slip differentials). I know in racing or rally its used. I'm thinking yes, and don't tell me to search[sm=smiley24.gif]

 

umm no i think the center is a lsd or a locker, but i think the others arnt

 

Totally blanking but iirc there are 3 diffs front/rear and a Torsen center diff. Front and rear might be LSD but I'm not sure whatsoever. Having multiple diffs is nothin like a single LSD though.

EDIT: If someone wants to chime in, I'd like to know for sure as well.

 

I was answering a question about diffs in another post and totally forgot about LSDs. I've never really heard anyone talk about them.

 

I'm damn near certen that the front and rear are not LSD's but open diffs, the center one or torson diff, dosen't work quite the same but does hold qualitys similar to a LSD.

Yeah the bentley says Torsen which is prob the locking you are talking about.
