They say to open the bleeders to make returning the piston easier. If the pins aren't pitted or rusted or damaged in any way they should be just fine.

So i'm starting to do the rear and i can't get my wheels off. I've tried one side but its stuck on there. There's only the 5 wheel bolts right? Anyone have a remedy?

Kick the outer edge of the tire, hard. It should pop the wheel loose from the hub.... they like to stick sometimes after being on there a while.

Yeah, just pull on that sucker, it'll come off. You can try loosening it with a hammer, just put a 2x4 around the edge of the wheel and smack the wood, not the wheel itself (duh)

I finished the rear rotors and pads today. In the process i snapped a bolt off but i managed to vice grip out the remainder and throw in a new bolt. Great experience over all and im ready to go after some bigger things. Thanks for all your advice!

Going back in! I want to re-do somethings i should have done the first time.A few questions... What should i use to clean the brake caliper hanger? Sandblast neccesary? Steel wool? Some sort of liquid? And how much anti sieze should i put on the back of my brake pads to keep them from squeeking. I really want to do this RIGHT, so any tips and small details would be awesome.
