brake light on in cluster

my brake light in the cluster has been on ever since ive bought the car, what can i do to fix this?

no i dont think my car came with that whistle & bell. umm my car is a 96 B5 A4

Have you checked your brake fluid? It is your "BRAKE" light and not the (O) symbol, correct? Check your bulbs in the tail lights to make sure they are working too.

ohh ok because mine is an 03 and i was having that problem it was a faulty confort control module... i have no idea what is wrong wit urs but just be thankful i dont have that noise i had to deal with very annoying

It is for sure my brake light, and yes my brake fluid is fine, new pad front and back also. but the light came on before i changed the brakes tho.
