brake light warning

i was driving to school today and the yellow sign "brake light" showed up on my display. anyone had this before?

same happend with me, it flashes for like 10 seconds then goes away. i have no clue why.

Check for a loose bulb.

yeah that picture, but i had my wife press the brake while i looked (hard to check by yourself), and the passenger side brake light is out. price? can i fix it myself (that is can someone tell me how)? or how much at stealership?

You can pick up the bulbs at Autozone or Advance Auto for a couple bucks. If I remember corectly... Just pull the carpet down, and unclip the bulb tray on the back of the light housing. Then you can get to the burnt out bulb easily.
