brake pads
Well I followed some advice that was found in the links that Jestnomen posted above and ended up using a pair of needle nose pliers to rotate the rear brake piston in so it would fit over the new brake pads. It took some work and make sure you open the bleeder screw a little to release the pressure. Also figured out why the car was beeping 3 times on start up and then continually having the word "Brake" flash on the display. As I had bled quite a bit of brake fluid (about 1/2 pint) out when I was struggling with these before I found out you had to rotate them... the system was just notifying me that my brake fluid level was low. Once I topped it off, my systems all check out on startup and I get the "OK" now and no more "Brake" flashing at me... YEAH. Thanks to those that helped get me back on the road!!! Scott from Utah.
