Brake peddle vibrates and pushes back when stopping
80-100lbs is good on just about any car. Set it to 90lbs and be safe.
By far the WORST thing you can do is NOT tighten your lug nuts.. I know of plenty of guys that have had their wheels fall off.. NOT a pretty sight..
Now my question is how fast were you stopping? Is it possible you were just feeling the ABS kick in? Your almost describing it to the T..
You will know when a rotor is warped, as the steering wheel wobbles when slowing down at a good rate from 60+
Warping is caused by the rotor heating up, and then parts of the rotor cooling down at separate rates.. SUCH as going downhill from a mountain, and then after all that slowing down, you are in a traffic jamb have to stop for 2+ minutes.
Also right after you get rotors, you have to let the pads seat in and then make sure you stay off your brakes as much as possible (neutral at stop lights) and once they get warm a couple of times they need to cool down properly.. (best way for this is easy stops on a country road, and then cruise for a min, and do it again, and SLOWLY step up the pressure given to the brakes. allowing the metal to be heat treated correctly.
If you want to know more, just ask...
Hope this helps.
